It was an honour to shoot this wonderful garden at RHS Badminton for @tomstuartsmith @tomstuartsmithstudio The Julia Rausing Garden, created for the inaugural RHS Badminton Flower Show, celebrates the life and extraordinary philanthropic legacy of Julia Rausing., commissioned by her husband, Sir Hans.Inspired by the pastoral landscape of the Badminton Estate, the design frames views across the lake and back towards Badminton House. A central terrace and restored fountain are surrounded by a flower garden, where woodland-edge planting sits beneath multi-stem trees and gives way to a dry meadow of drought-tolerant perennials. Beyond, the garden opens into a wildflower meadow, with lime trees and a wild beehive, creating a haven for both people and wildlife.
